I’m Kathy Sipple, Founder of mysocialmedialessons.com. This site was born as a response to the hundreds of students I’ve taught via various live and online workshops over the past years. Many have created a Facebook business page, blog or Twitter account with the best of intentions, only to let it languish because they lost focus or became confused about how to do certain tasks.
The goal of this site is to provide ongoing, affordable coaching support so that business owners and not-for-profit organizations can represent themselves successfully in the social media space. Many clients have found that one-on-one coaching sessions are helpful, yet often they are not aware that they need it–they don’t know what they don’t know.
The plan is to give subscribers easy to follow, step-by-step instructions that will allow them to review previously learned lessons and add to them as the need and desire arises. Subscribers will have unlimited access to short (1 to 5 minute) tutorials that address how to learn a very specific task. Videos will be tagged and categorized to make them easy to find in an intuitive manner.
For instance, if a subscriber completes the video lesson “How to Create a Twitter Account”, several videos will be suggested for likely next steps they may be interested in, including: “How to Create a Custom Twitter Background,” “How to Get Followers,” “How to Send a Direct Message”, etc.
The first 20 subscribers will receive an exceptional value: half off the regular subscription rate of $99/month–only $49.99/month. But wait, there’s more… Regular subscribers will get a chance to get answers to four questions monthly; we will give our flagship subscribers twice the amount–eight questions monthly.
